Six figure jobs in business/finance?

The only six figure job I can come up with is Actuary and being an actuary does not interest me at all, I'm good with probability, and stat but these guys can do Calculus problems in their head.



My dad is a CFO and wants me to be an accountant. Accountants do pretty well FRESH OUT OF COLLEGE, but I want to get paid six figures. I live by NYC and Philly. Any ideas?



Is there seriously nothing else out there that pays much better than an Accountant?



My neighbor is a retired commodities broker, I have no idea what that is but he worked in NYC and did pretty well for himself, so, yeah.



My dad isn't rich and I do not want to be rich either, I just want to make more than he did.

In big cities, the median income for accredited accountants is around $100K.

Get your CPA or CMA out of school and you'll be fine.

You are going to work on your knowledge of what accountants can do - and do do.

investment bankers do great but the job has so much competition.
maybe go into anesthesiology it is like people who deal with the right amount of anesthesia to put in someones body for surgery. its a long 10 years of training but once you are done it is all rewarded.
